Angelo Rognoni

Born November 5, 1896 in Pavia, died June 28, 1957 in Pavia.  Rognoni was a Futurist writer and painter who wrote Manifesto de la Psycho-peinture, and who, together with Gino Giuseppe Soggetti, created the magazine La Folgore futurista in 1917.  In May of 1921, he declaimed, in the newspaper L’Ardito, that he did not share Marinetti’s political views.  However, he remained in contact with the Futurists and in 1922 wrote the Futurist manifesto I Plastici Paroliberi.
