1899 Begins teaching at the Wiener Akademie and the Kunstgewerbeschule.
1901-2 Publishes a portfolio, Die Quelle (The Source), containing elegant graphic designs for tapestries, fabrics, and wallpapers. His style at this time is comprised of clean lines and motifs of classical Greek and Roman art and architecture.
1903 With Josef Hoffmann, Moser founds Wiener Werkstätte, a studio producing glassware, flatware, and textiles, both functionally and aesthetically designed.
1904 Creates the Apse Mosaic and glass windows for the Kirche am Steinhof, Vienna.
1905 Separates from the Vienna Secession. Marries Editha Mautner von Markhof.
1907 Withdraws from the Wiener Werkstätte due to internal conflicts.
