Luciano De Nardis

De Nardis’ real name was Livio Caroloni.  He was an Italian Futurist poet and painter.  He wrote extensive texts for songs by the musician Francesco Balilla Pratella, with whom he was friends.  In 1916, De Nardis was first mentioned as a representative of Parolibere and participated in many Futurist exhibitions.  He was strongly influenced by Giacomo Balla.  For a number of years, he worked as an editor of the cultural magazine La Pié.
